| Alison
was trained in Covent Gardens, London. Initially
a stylist, she grew through the ranks and began managing
a salon with a foundation built on Vidal Sassoon techniques.
She has since worked in many notable salons, honing her craft
along the way. At Pipino Bucheri she became a well-rounded blow
dryer. At Bumble and Bumble, she mastered the razor.
Her
philosophy for working with hair?
"Suitability
and practicality," says Alison who considers it a wonderful
gift to make people look and feel better.
Consultations
are also a key principle in her work. "We all love change,
even if it's a little or it's dramatic." Discussing
the options with her clients is part of the ongoing relationship
she builds with anyone who sits in her chair. |
